Contact Us

There is one email address for the whole site and the editors read it themselves. That is on purpose. A page of department aliases would look more impressive and would route most of your messages to nobody.

One inbox, sorted by hand

Everything reaches support@thekissingpunk.com. Tips, corrections, pitches, data requests and advertising enquiries land in the same place and are triaged by the editor on duty that day.

Put the subject in the first two words of your subject line and it will move faster. We do not run a contact form, and we do not publish a street address. If you need to send something physically, ask and we will tell you where.

News tips, including the sensitive kind

Documents, screenshots, internal memos, recall paperwork, a patch note edited after publication. Tell us what you have and what you would like done with it, and say plainly if you would rather not be named.

If the material puts you at risk, send a short first message with no attachment and say you need a secure route. Encrypted email is available on request, and only the editor handling the story sees what arrives.

Corrections and factual errors

Errors go to the same address with the word correction at the front of the subject line. Include the headline, the sentence you dispute, and the document or link that settles it.

We check reported errors before changing anything, then correct on the page and note what was altered. What happens next is set out in our corrections policy.

Pitches, press releases and embargoes

A freelance pitch is one paragraph on the story, a line on who you have already spoken to, and a link to something you have written. Please do not send finished articles on spec.

Press releases are welcome and are treated as a starting point rather than as an article. If there is an embargo, put the time in the subject line. We will not trade a framing, a headline or quote approval for early access.

Advertising and partnership enquiries

Commercial mail reaches the same inbox and is answered from the business side of the wall, never by the reporter who covers your sector. Ask for the rate card and we will send it with the current audience report.

What we sell, what we turn down and how sponsored material is labelled is on our advertise page. Reading it first saves us both a round of email.

Privacy, data and legal notices

Requests to see or delete your data, cookie questions and objections to processing use the same address, with data request in the subject. What we hold and why is in our privacy policy.

Copyright complaints follow the steps in our DMCA policy. Send legal correspondence by email first so that it reaches a person in the same week.

What to expect back

Corrections are looked at the day they arrive. Tips get a reply inside two working days when we mean to follow them, and a slower one when the reporting takes time. Commercial enquiries take two to three working days, and pitches can take a week.

We keep no accounts on social platforms, so an account posting under our name is not us and does not speak for the newsroom. If you are unsure that a message from us is genuine, ask at support@thekissingpunk.com.
